It looked wayyy smaller in the picture when I ordered it. I was gonna see how well it’d work on my solution hose, but that’s a NO. This thing is a heavy beast

Anywhere else I can put this 1/4” valve?

I always put shutoff ball valves behind each QC on the front of the machine to expedite connecting when working.

A typical ball valve is rated 800 psi, fine for carpet ..

However if you have a machine capable of much higher pressure for tile cleaning those valves don't hold up being repeatedly cycled at well over 1200 psi. Thus the 870 has a Gemel on that coupler.

This avoids cycling the lesser valves under that pressure.
