I wouldn't want my underwear made from this sort of microfiber, as the pile is annoying against the skin, but use some to clean up caulking, or polish a bike or car and you'll hopefully find out why the rest of the world loves the stuff.

Using the Pemberton/ bonnet approach to fine fabric cleaning is another example of it's wonderful absorbent qualities, although I would not use yellow for that task.

I don't like microfiber. Something about it... I've been told that I should like it though.
I guarantee if you invest 14.00 in just 1 of these micro fiber towels, and use it once. It will change your mind forever. I have a shelby mustang and i bought 2 for drying it. Since ive used them on all my vehicles also if you can find diamond weave micro fiber cloths. They are specifically designed to remove streaks from glass i hate micro fiber furniture but these 2 products will change how you view micro fiber forever!! I bought mine from Jay Leno's garage but since ive found as good cheaper. Try um they will greatly help keep your van and other vehicles looking great

Is it not true that microfiber has more shearing capability, but cotton has more absorption capability? It certainly feels like it when working with each of them. I bought a bunch of microfiber and cotton cloths when I started this work, then I gravitated entirely to the cotton cloths for spotting based on how they feel and work.

Using cotton and microfiber bonnets in the same environment with a 175 has shown me that at least they have a big difference in the above mentioned capabilities. The cotton bonnets simply absorb way more moisture than the microfiber (unless I don't understand what I am seeing and feeling), but the microfiber does have a more aggressive shearing/scrubbing action.

Cotton and blends will cause texture damage to pile carpet if over used.

Use MF as much as possible.

Its true the vehicle drying towels hold a ton of water. I have a bucket with 6 or 7 chamois and that's what it took to dry my van now i squeegee off the puddles on the flat surfaces and effortlessly completely dry the entire extended van with 1 towel in less than half the time! Part of my business is window cleaning and cleaning a large window only to find som sticker glue or bug stain in the middle used to mean redoing the whol window. But with diamond weave micro fiber you can touch up a spot in the middle and be done with it. Im not kidding. When i got the mustang a friend turned me on to a drying towel and it sat in my shop for at least a year before i tried it now i have a half dozen. Later a sommelier at a fine restaurant/ inn i clean turned me on to diamond weave. She used them to make wine glasses sparkle.

The micro fibers at Drive and Shine are pretty good.

We have used the rolls in the past but they are only good for mechanics imo.
They are just good throw away towels.
